Three builders who left investment banking to create the tech events people actually want to attend.
We all spent 4 years as software engineers at Tier 1 investment banks before deciding to build something of our own. AI Nexus started from a shared frustration: tech events were either too corporate or too disorganised. We set out to fix that.

Our Story
AI Nexus started in London in 2024, when AI was taking off and there was nowhere to talk about it regularly on an informal basis. We began hosting casual pub and bar meetups, inviting founders, engineers, VCs, and anyone curious into a space where people could share raw, unfiltered opinions about where things were headed.
We ran a monthly informal meetup throughout 2025, and the community grew fast. That momentum led to a pitch demo day with Earlybird VC. Then we realised there was huge demand for hackathons, and that hackathons were genuinely some of the most fun, high-energy events you could run. So we went all in.
Today, we run large-scale events synchronously across global cities. We built our own software to manage everything end to end and make sure the attendee experience is consistently good. We have curated sponsor relationships, a community of over 5,000 members, hubs in London, San Francisco, Washington DC, Boston, and Singapore, and a strong online presence for everyone else.
